Book Blog Hop

Book Blogger Hop

Welcome to my hop! You can join in at:

Here is the question of the week:

"What very popular and hyped book in the blogosphere did you NOT enjoy and how did you feel about posting your review?"

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. I was so exited to get that book that I bought it hardback without a coupon. (That's big for me) It was so bad, I could barely finish the book.

I really didn't care about posting the negative review because I was so annoyed I spent so much money :P

Hey, I'm a book addict and I always try to follow back!

  1. Thanks for stopping by my blog! :]

I've heard of a lot of others whom also didn't enjoy Hush, Hush. So I guess I'll be passing on it for now.

And I can't imagine being an anti-grammarian, haha!

    Have a great weekend!

  2. Finally! Someone who disliked Hush, Hush almost as much as I did. I listened to it and know that had I been reading with my eyes instead of my ears, I would've abandoned the book. Gah! I cannot stand naive, "oh really? You love me?" protagonists, especially protagonists who are otherwise painted as capable, bright, independent females. Gah again.

I haven't yet posted my hated despite the hype books, but Hush, Hush is high on my list.

Love the layout of your blog. I popped it into my feeder.

    Happy reading!

  3. New follower. I love the name of your blog :)

  4. Hopping through. New follower. I didn't love Hush, Hush either, although I didn't hate it.
    My Hop

  5. Hi there, I'm hopping by. I have mixed feelings about reading this book, I'm not sure why. One reason is that people have been saying that they are not crazy about the sequel. Maybe I'll skip this one.

  6. I haven't read Hush Hush. I love negative reviews because it adds to feel of everyone has an opinion and when you find someone with the same negative thought it is like 'ah ha' someone else didn't enjoy the book.

    My response

  7. Hush, Hush is on the Top Ten Books for 2010 as voted by teens. I haven't read it but kids seem to like it. This is why I always try to put something positive in my reviews even if I don't care for the book.

Welcome to ORAB. I love to hear from you!
